Thanks? You're probably right. [Definitely right.] But I grew up on a half-frozen strip of land miles away from any city of significance- and the biggest cities aren't anything like here, trust me. So I know I missed out on a lot even where I'm from. Kinda hard to travel around and see the sights. [Not even getting into the power structures and general War, but one thing at a time.]

friend of mine's been having a pretty rough time and he mentioned liking books and happy endings

problem is none of the books I read exist in this world
none
and it's like you said too much stuff's going on outside
(a girl BIT me and turned me into a vampire you're so lucky you missed out on that)
and sure I could just look online for reviews but it doesn't seem right to give someone (who's having a rough time) a book I don't even know is good or not
let alone if he'd like it
